Nepal is a Himalayan nation between economics power of Asia, China in north and India in east west and south with an open border. Nepal is a least develop or developing, hilly, landlocked, agrarian country and also geographically and culturally diverse, country which lies in South Asia. Total area of Nepal is 147181 sq. km. in area that accounts as 0.03% of land of the Asia. The absolute location of Nepal lies 26022′ to 30027′ north latitude and 8004′ to 88012′ east longitude. It is a buffer state between china and India. Geographically, Nepal is divided into Himalaya, Hill and Terai regions. Administratively, it is divided into 5 development regions, 14 zones and 75 districts. Like this, geographically, administratively and politically Nepal is divided into different units. (CBS 2011)

There is the great diversity in Nepal based upon religion, caste, culture and even natural climate. The centre of attraction in Nepal cannot be well defined because different persons enjoy differently in this country. Some of the tourists like to observe the religion, customs and ceremony celebrated. Majority of the people are Hindu so there is great festival ceremony between families and communities. Preservation of humanity is the soul thing of the festivals. The festivals are celebrated by the feelings of brotherhood. We can see many photographs where the tourist are enjoying the Nepalese festival in the community like Dashin, Tihar, Holi, Godhe Jatra, Indra Jatra and so on.


There is a woman Anna Stirr who has done Phd. In Lok dhori of Nepal as Ethnographic research. According to her Lok Dohori is the most beautiful and enjoyable singing practice all over the world. She basically regards that Nepal is the 2nd home in her life.
